O Ministro da Energia e Águas, João Baptista Borges, ladeado pelo Governador da província de Luanda, Manuel Homem, pelo Secretário de Estado para a Energia, António Belsa da Costa, quadros do Ministério da Energia e Águas e membros da administração da EPAL, entre outros, efectuaram hoje, 21 de Novembro de 2023, uma visita a diversos empreendimentos da EPAL, na cidade capital, Luanda.
Foi assim radiografada, de forma demorada, a fase III da Estação de Tratamento de Água de Candelabro. De recordar que esta infraestrutura foi construída para aumentar a capacidade de abastecimento de água e colmatar a escassez em algumas zonas da cidade de Luanda.
Foi igualmente visitado o Centro de Distribuição de Água do Novo Aeroporto (Lote Q5), sendo um projeto que contará com uma capacidade nominal de reserva de 40.000 metros cúbicos, beneficiando cerca de 789.943 habitantes.
Outra infraestrutura avaliada foi o Centro de Distribuição de Água do Bom Jesus (Lote Q8), projecto que está inserido no sistema 5 Quilonga Grande e encontra-se em fase inicial de construção, estando na ordem dos 5,72% de execução física. Terá uma capacidade de reserva de 30.000 metros cúbicos.
Por último e para finalizar a jornada de campo, o Ministro da Energia e Águas, juntamente com o Governador de Luanda, procederam ao corte da fita para a inauguração da agência do KK 5000, que contempla uma sala de atendimento com cinco postos, um gabinete e uma vasta sala de espera.
