No âmbito do Plano Angola 2025, definido pelo Executivo angolano, que visa elevar a taxa de electrificação com recurso à fontes de energias amigas do ambiente, mais de um milhão de pessoas em 60 comunas de Angola vai beneficiar de energia eléctrica da rede pública.
Na senda da electrificação de Angola, decorreu na tarde de quinta-feira 16 de Novembro, no Município de Luau, * o acto de consignação e lançamento da Primeira Pedra do Projecto de Electrificação Rural da Província do Moxico.
A cerimónia do lançamento do Projecto foi presidida pelo Ministro da Energia e Águas, ladeado pelo Governador provincial, Ernesto Muangala pelos embaixadores da República de Portugal, Francisco Alegre, da República Federal da Alemanha, Stefan Traumann, embaixador das energias renováveis, Vice-Governador Provincial, altos responsáveis do sector da energia, nomeadamente, DNERER, PRODEL, ENDE e o padrinho do Projecto o conceituado músico Matias Damásio.
Na sequência do acto de consignação, seguido do lançamento da primeira pedra para o arranque das obras, foi celebrado o contrato entre a empresa pública PRODEL, em representação do Estado angolano, como dono da obra, e o Grupo português MCA, como empreiteiro principal.
O ministro João Baptista Borges realçou, na ocasião, que o empreendimento a ser construído, faz parte das prioridades idealizadas pelo Titular do Poder Executivo, João Lourenço, em garantir o acesso à energia eléctrica a milhares de famílias residentes em zonas recônditas do país, para impulsionar o desenvolvimento económico e social nestas localidades.
Relativamente à concepção e desenvolvimento, o projecto de engenharia, a construção de híbridos e a geração fotovoltaica, com sistema de armazenamento, em baterias de ião-lítio e a expansão da rede eléctrica com novas redes de distribuição, num total de 12 localidades, vai permitir que o país tenha energia mais limpa e barata, prevendo atingir cerca de 59 mil casas com ligações domiciliares, em sistema pré-pago, beneficiando mais de 370 mil pessoas.
No Luau, quanto aos beneficiários deste importante projecto, prevê-se atingir cerca 59 mil e 370 pessoas. Será ainda construído um parque fotovoltaico com 55 mil e 500 painéis solares, com uma capacidade de produção de 58MWp.
O projecto de electrificação Rural do Luau está orçado em mais de 1,027.587.914,00€ , cuja conclusão está prevista para dentro de três anos (36 meses), a contar da data da celebração do contrato entre as partes.
No final da actividade, o ministro e a delegação que o acompanha, deslocaram-se ao município do Luena para constatar o grau de execução das obras de implementação do parque fotovoltaico da cidade sede (Luena), que se encontra a um nível de 95% de execução física e terá uma capacidade de 26.906 MWdc.
