Ministro da Energia e Águas Eng. João Baptista Borges, começou nesta segunda-feira, 11 de Dezembro, uma incursão pelo Sul do País, com primeira paragem na província do Cuanza Sul, onde o Titular do Sector Eléctrico e das Águas, constatou diversos empreendimentos do sector que dirige naquela circunscrição do País .
Numa comitiva composta pelos Presidentes dos Conselhos de Administração da PRODEL, Pedro Afonso, da ENDE Hélder Adão, Directora Nacional das Águas, Elsa Ramos e de outros altos funcionários do MINEA, das empresas tuteladas e parceiras, cumprindo uma vasta agenda de trabalho, que insere visitas às seguintes infraestruturas:
O governante começou por visitar as obras de electrificação à Sul de Calulo, projecto para Electrificação da Vila da Quibala com a Construção de uma Subestação e redes de Distribuição para beneficiar cerca de 5.630 habitantes. A obra teve o seu início em Janeiro de 2023, com nível de execução de 81%, com conclusão prevista para Agosto de 2023.
De igual forma visitou as obras de Construção de uma Subestação de Alta Tensão com ligação à Rede Nacional, tendo o seu início no presente ano de 2023 com conclusão para o próximo ano . A obra encontra -se a 75% de execução física e conta com 150 empregos directos.
Importa realçar que quando concluída esta obra vai beneficiar 28 comunidades desta circunscrição.
Ministro Baptista Borges, avaliou naquela região o grau de inoperância do Sistema de Abastecimento de Água da Quibala que segundo governante deverá ser reabilitado para prontamente abastecer, trinta mil pessoas.
Já à caminho da província do Huambo, o governante constatou a grau de implementação dos primeiros Postes de Transformação (PT's) que vão fornecer energia eléctrica às comunidades citadas .
