A electrificação chegará a mais de 1 milhão de pessoas de 60 comunas, nas províncias de Malanje, Bié, Moxico, Lunda-Norte e Lunda-Sul.
Teve lugar em Cafunfo, no Município do Cuango, nesta quarta-feira, 15 de Novembro, o acto de consignação e lançamento da primeira pedra do Projecto de Electrificação Rural da província da Lunda-Norte, em cerimónia presidida pelo Ministro da Energia e Águas, João Baptista Borges, ladeado pela Governadora Provincial, Deolinda Vilarinho, pelos embaixadores da República de Portugal , Francisco Alegre e da República Federal da Alemanha, Stefan Traumann, e de responsáveis do Sector da Energia, DNEER , PRODEL, ENDE
A assinatura do Auto coube aos responsáveis das empresas. Em representação do Governo Angolano a PRODEL para acompanhante e fiscalização do dono da obra e como empreiteiro principal da obra, o Grupo português MCA.M.
Durante o evento , o ministro realçou ser um marco assinalável no desenvolvimento da Electrificação do País, destacando a prioridade de Sua Excelência Presidente da República, João Manuel Gonçalves Lourenço que definiu metas na sua agenda para que mais famílias angolanas, nos pontos mais longínquos deste país, tenham energia mais limpa, barata, prevendo atingir cerca de 70% até 2027 na Matriz Energética Nacional em energias renováveis e assim, melhorar a qualidade de vida de todos angolanos ainda desprovidos da energia da rede pública nacional .
Na província da Lunda Norte, o projecto vai beneficiar 74 mil e 368 famílias em 15 comunas.
Na vila de Cafunfo, onde foi feito o primeiro lançamento oficial do projecto, serão feitas 29.150 ligações domiciliares com sistema pré pago.
Será construído um parque fotovoltaico com 72 mil painéis , que terão a capacidade de produzir 41.4 megawatts, mais 111,45 MW armazenados em baterias, para produção nocturna.
Orçado em mil milhões, 27 mil Mil 914 Euros, o parque fotovoltaico de Cafunfo será construído em três anos.
Recorda-se que Angola é, por excelência, um local com distintas condições para a utilização da energia solar, com uma radiação global em plano horizontal anual média compreendida entre 1 370 e 2 100 kWh/m2/ano. A tecnologia mais adequada para aproveitar o recurso solar é a produção de electricidade através de sistemas fotovoltaicos. Sendo esta a tecnologia de mais rápida instalação (prazos inferiores a 1 ano) e com menor custo de manutenção, e que gradualmente deixou de ser tão onerosa, fundamenta o investimento na exploração de um recurso abundante como o sol e confere um maior sentido para soluções de pequena/média dimensão e descentralizadas.
O projecto, conta com parceiros estratégicos, cujo financiamento e/ou apoio financeiro de 1,2 mil milhões de Euros feito pela empresa alemã Euler Hermes.
O projecto faz parte da estratégia do Plano Angola 2025, definida pelo Governo, que visa levar a energia eléctrica limpa a áreas urbanas e rurais, através da expansão da rede eléctrica nacional e da construção de parques fotovoltaicos, transformando Angola num país próspero, moderno e com uma inserção crescente na economia mundial e regional.
O Estado angolano pretende dar um contributo ambiental positivo através da redução de emissões de gases de efeito estufa, que situa-se entre 4.2 e 8.0 milhões de ton CO2.
Por fim, João Baptista Borges, apelou a população local para a preservação dos bens públicos e a denunciar os actos de vandalismo, que têm se registado um pouco por todo o país.
