O Ministério da Energia e Águas realizou de 27 à 28 de Setembro do ano em curso, no Auditório da Igreja Católica “Dom Armando Amaral dos Santos”, na província de Benguela, o 12º Conselho Consultivo do MINEA, sob o lema “Energia e Águas: Rumo à Expansão e Melhoria da Qualidade dos Serviços”.
Foram proferidas palavras de boas-vindas, por Sua Excelência Governador da Província de Benguela, Luís Manuel da Fonseca Nunes, tendo inicialmente agradecido a escolha da Província que acolheu o evento e manifestado o compromisso de cooperar e juntar sinergias para se dar resposta às necessidades das populações, com realce à implementação de novos projectos de investimentos que atendam as indústrias, em particular, face ao crescimento que se assiste na Província de Benguela. Em seguida, Sua Excelência Ministro da Energia e Águas, João Baptista Borges, ladeado, pelos Secretários de Estado para a Energia, António Fernandes Rodrigues Belsa da Costa e o Secretário de Estado para as Águas, Manuel Quintino.
Na sua abordagem, o Ministro da Energia e Águas agradeceu a colaboração e apoio do Governo da Província de Benguela, na materialização dos projectos do Sector, enfatizou a necessidade de atracção de Investimento e Parcerias Público e Privadas, no Modelo de Mercado e adequabilidade dos Tarifários e Sustentabilidade das Empresas Públicas. Realçou ainda que neste processo, a melhoria da arrecadação de receitas e redução de custos jogam um papel fundamental.
O evento teve como objectivo proceder ao Balanço do Grau de Cumprimento das Recomendações do 11º Conselho Consultivo e congregar os quadros do Sector, com realce para os seguintes aspectos:- Balanço do Plano de Acção do Sector 2018-2022, para o aumento do acesso e melhoria da qualidade dos serviços;- Abordagem sobre o modelo de mercado, eficiência dos tarifários, sustentabilidade das empresas, com o objectivo de atrair investimento privado e estabelecimento de parceria público e privado para o Sector;- Apresentação do Plano de Acção do Sector, referente ao quinquénio 2023 -2027.
A par do certame foram realizados mais alguns eventos, como a visita a central fotovoltaica do Biópio, gerida pela PRODEL. E a inauguração do Centro de Despacho Regional da ENDE, localizado no município do Lobito na província de Benguela, pelo Ministro da Energia e Águas, João Baptista Borges, enquadrado na Estratégia da Evolução Tecnológica dos Serviços de Distribuição.
Na cerimónia de inauguração, João Baptista Borges , afirmou que o Centro é de extrema importância para a Empresa Nacional de Distribuição de Electricidade para que se torne mais eficiente no seu atendimento aos clientes. O Ministro João Baptista Borges, em nome dos delegados e participantes desta reunião alargada, procedeu o acto de solidariedade na noite de quinta-feira 28, a oferta de uma motorizada de três rodas ao José André, de 30 anos de idade, um gesto atendido com a extrema urgência como apoio da deficiência física dos membros inferiores .
Na sequência, os participantes foram agraciados com a entrega de certificados e brindes.
Participaram no evento os Vice-Governadores das Províncias de Benguela, Bié, Cunene e Lunda Sul, representantes dos Ministérios da Agricultura e Florestas, dos Recursos Minerais, Petróleo e Gás, do Ambiente, da Indústria e Comércio, representantes dos órgãos centrais e dependentes do Ministério da Energia e Águas, membros dos Conselhos de Administração das Empresas do Sector, dos Gabinetes Provinciais de Infraestrutura e Serviços Técnicos, distintos parceiros, autoridades locais, convidados e outros por via virtual através da plataforma zoom, perfazendo um total de duzentas e vinte quatro participantes.
