Com o objectivo de trazer alguns conceitos actuais aplicados à área de protecção e controle de energia eléctrica, com conceitos modernos de tecnologia de informação, segurança cibernética, sincrofasores e protecção no domínio do tempo, realizou-se hoje, 09 de Maio, na sede do Ministério da Energia e Águas, em Luanda, o seminário: "Inovação com Confiabilidade".
Este evento contou com a presença do Secretário de Estado para a Energia, Belsa da Costa, e especialistas altamente capacitados, que apresentaram as mais avançadas tecnologias de protecção eléctrica oferecidas pela Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) e foi prestigiado com o discurso de abertura proferido pelo ministro da Energia e Águas, João Baptista Borges, que, na sua alocução, exortou para que haja um aprimoramento da qualidade dos serviços levados aos clientes no âmbito da distribuição de electricidade. Focou-se igualmente, na importância da questão da manutenção e operação e num ponto tido como chave, mais precisamente, os recursos humanos, sendo que João Baptista Borges referiu ser "imperioso" investir-se mais neste segmento, com formações e também incentivos aos trabalhadores.
O evento, que contou ainda com a parceria da APROT Engenharia S.A, abordou, entre outros, conceitos importantes como a subestação digital, a cibersegurança e conceitos syncheophasors.
Este fórum acontece na senda das várias ocorrências que resultaram em perturbações no sistema eléctrico nacional, sendo que pretende-se dotar, em última análise, os técnicos do sector eléctrico com novas tecnologias e soluções para a proteção do sistema eléctrico.
