Uma delegação chefiada pelo Ministro da Energia e Águas, João Baptista Borges, acompanhado pelo Secretário de Estado da Energia, António Belsa da Costa e altos responsáveis da PRODEL, MINEA, realizaram, hoje, sábado 22, uma jornada de campo nas províncias de Malanje e Kwanza -Norte, aonde foram constatar "in loco " o estado de funcionamento da conclusão da central de aproveitamento hidroeléctrico de Laúca (AH).
Também visitaram a central ecológica que está a ser erguida em Laúca de sessenta e cinco Mega Watts (MW), bem como às obras de construção do projecto Caculo Cabaça.
A comitiva começou a sua jornada de campo, logo nas primeiras horas deste sábado 22, visitando a Central principal que tem uma capacidade de 2004 MW, distribuídos em seis grupos geradores, de cada 334 MW, que já faz parte da produção do sistema interligado que permitiu atender várias famílias em dez províncias do nosso território nacional.
O Ministro, João Baptista Borges, e a sua comitiva, visitaram as obras de construção do AH de Caculo Cabaça que já se encontra em execução, e terá uma capacidade de 2120 MW de quatro grupos geradores cada um de 530 MW.
Em Laúca, o Ministro recebeu informações detalhadas sobre o estado de operacionalidade daquela central hidroeléctrica, por parte da equipa técnica de exploração deste centro de produção, tendo de igual modo, recebido esclarecimento do empreiteiro da obra, a empresa brasileira Odebrecht, que confirmou que a central ecológica está em fase de conclusão final e que nos próximos tempos vão entregar a empreitada.
Já em Caculo Cabaça na província do Kwanza -Norte, o Ministro e a sua comitiva, procederam uma visita exaustiva em várias áreas que compõem a fase inicial da obra global que já está a quinze por cento de execução, incluindo a subestação de apoio à construção de 220/30 kV e a empreitada decorre a bom ritmo.
